Godot Devlog 3


Welcome once again to the infamous Godot Devlog, and have a happy valentines day. Sorry for no posts for like 2 weeks. I was busy playing Chaos Faction 2 and some X-COM.

I optimized the code even further, so I can make new weapons even faster, add (mostly) working joypad support and perhaps add a third player! (special thanks to IsItLucas? and the godot remap example 'cause I wouldn't be able to figure this shit out) (also another note: this shit took me like 5 hours, I love game development so much)

Speaking of weapons, say hello the M249! Large ammo capacity, but terrible at short and long distances. Pretty cool, huh? Don't forget the knife, which upon throwing it, an instakill is guaranteed.

More visual effects! The flamethrower, grenade and rocket launcher are all back, with even better fire effects, and really, really cool explosions.
